About Randy Lewis
As senior vice president leading Walgreens logistics division, Lewis bet his career that he could create an inclusive workplace where people with disabilities could not just succeed, but thrive. It was a bet that paid off. In 2007, Walgreens built its first large-scale production facility designed for a workforce consisting of people with and without disabilities. With a staffing goal of 1/3 employees with disabilities, it was essential for them to ensure equitable jobs, standards, and pay for everyone.
Fast forward to today, Walgreens owns an inclusion model known as the gold standard of disability hiring. It’s a model the company shared with other companies across all sectors including Lowe’s, Best Buy, Auto Zone, Hershey’s and UPS. His book, No Greatness Without Goodness, is a powerful story of how his experiences as the father of an autistic child compelled him to use his influence to change people’s lives.
